Our Programmes

Something for everyone

Find A Programme

We currently provide opportunities for our Northland rangatahi, through work experience, skill & leadership development, driver licensing, mental health, mentoring, inspiration, role models, education seminars and life keepers suicide prevention.

Programmes are continually being added, so if there’s an area you are interested in, make sure you get in touch to see if we can help.

Wellbeing

Rugby For Life has partnered with a range of organisations to drive positive health & wellbeing programmes through education on both nutritional and mental health. Whether you’re in school, on the rugby field or in the workplace, learning how to improve your overall physical and mental health will empower and benefit you for life. It we don’t fuel our bodies correctly or keep them moving, we can’t perform at our best.

Employment

Through relationships and stakeholders, the Rugby For Life network offers mentoring, training, and employment pathways into tourism, hospitality, trade, farming, agriculture, retail, customer service and community rugby clubs through both full and part time employment.

We’re engaged with and supporting our Northland rangatahi to break through the barriers of securing employment to help them reach their career goals.

Education

Rugby For Life uses its network of community-based supporters and providers to offer our rangatahi educational opportunities to upskill, gain confidence and transition into their chosen industry.

They provide a variety of mentoring, training and development programs that teach transferable skills so they can reach their fullest potential and transition into successful lifetime careers within Northland.
